OKLAHOMA!

She holds a red earth charm beyond compare. Oklahoma has long fascinated and inspired great people. People like author, John Steinbeck with his classic Grapes of Wrath and Broadway composers Rogers and Hammerstein with their musical Oklahoma, whose title song has now become Oklahoma’s state song. Rogers and Hammerstein captured the people of the time and the struggle between farmers and ranchers in the days just before statehood. Oklahoma has always been about farmers and ranchers but it was oil that filled her coffers and defined her place in history.
