In 1985, she completed her M. Ed. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Central Oklahoma. Karen has been employed by the Oklahoma Dept of Human Services over 28 years, 7 years as a social worker and over 21 as a Social Service Inspector. Prior to working with the DHS, Karen worked in the Credit and Loan Dept at Central National Bank. Karen has also taught short term culinary classes, including bread, pastries, and chocolate, at Francis Tuttle Technology Center for 9 years. In addition, Karen was also the first representative in Oklahoma for Demarle at Home, a direct sales company which sells the premier silicone baking products in the world. Karen and her husband, Don, do volunteer work with so Small Paws Rescue, the largest Bichon Frise rescue organization in the country, located in Tulsa. Being ready for retirement from the DHS, Karen chose to begin a new career in real estate with EXIT Bob Linn Realty. Her experience with the DHS has well equipped her to work with her clients and be sensitive to their needs. Karen’s goal is to assist each client by quickly selling their current home or finding their dream home so families can begin to create lasting memories.
